An experienced senior with a strategic overview

I have probably had a bit of luck in life and achieved more than I dared to dream of as a young man.

Rather than repeat myself, I will point to an interview I gave years ago titled "Dreams come true only with the courage to make them happen."

At retirement age and with the independence I have reached, I can now do everything I consider meaningful and satisfying. This is my eleventh year leading the Barrandov protection association; I organize neighborhood events and try to put my knowledge and experience to work for the place where I live.

My lifelong focus on construction, investment and zoning was reflected professionally in many large buildings that I initiated across the country as a manager of a global company, and also in the election results of previous years. Although I am not a party member and did not run for the Prague city assembly, I was given the chance to help the city with my experience on the Committee for the City Zoning Plan. In the district I first chaired the Committee for Territorial Development and was then elected deputy district mayor and chair of the Commission for Strategic Development of Prague 5. Political office is not the goal of my efforts; in the coming years I would like to pass on everything I know and can do to younger people.

If I am elected to the assembly again, I will work for the development of our district and speak up whenever things head in the wrong direction.
