The controller of personal data is Česká pirátská strana, company ID 71339698, registered at Na Moráni 360/3, 128 00 Praha 2, in the context of the election campaign for the Prague 5 district assembly. On matters of personal data protection, contact us at praha5@pirati.cz.

2. What data, for what purpose and on what legal basis

Campaign news (newsletter)

If you subscribe, we process your email address in order to send information about the campaign and our platform. Because this is a political party newsletter, the data relates to your political opinion, which is a special category of personal data under Article 9 GDPR. The legal basis is therefore your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR (together with Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by checking a separate box and which we verify by double opt-in. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the link in every email or at praha5@pirati.cz; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Communication with us

When you contact us by email or through a form, we process the data you provide in order to handle your query. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), or your consent.

Traffic measurement and marketing

With the consent given in the cookie bar we measure traffic (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager and the Stape server container), analyze on-page behavior using anonymous heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity) and display content from social networks (Facebook). We do not use remarketing or any other ad targeting based on your behavior on this site. For details, the specific cookies and an explanation of consent mode, see our cookie policy.

Running and securing the site

To run and protect the site we process technical data for no longer than necessary (for example the IP address in logs, in form rate limiting and in error reports). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and functionality of the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Who we share data with (processors)

To keep the site running we use vetted providers that process data on our instructions:

Some providers (Google, Meta) may process data outside the EU as well; in that case the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses.

4. How long we keep the data

5. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making with legal effects, nor profiling with similarly significant consequences for you, on the basis of your data. We do not target ads at you based on your behavior on this site.

6. Your rights
