What exactly, within 4 years

• Smart street cleaning and care for greenery. A digital record of every area, tree, trash can and public space in the district, plus a modern management system so cleaning and care for greenery can be planned and checked better. The basics: photo documentation, records and clear quality rules, including online reporting of problems.
• We want a Prague 5 that stays cool even when it's hot. We will connect parks, tree-lined streets, courtyards, playgrounds and walking routes into a green network so the city stays livable on hot days. We will fill in missing tree lines and bring unused courtyards back to life together with owners and homeowner associations. The goal is shade you can sit down in and space where it feels good to stay outside.
• Water and greenery instead of concrete. Every renovation of a park, playground or open space will address not only how people use it but also retaining rainwater, cooling the surroundings and biodiversity. We will replace overheated concrete with permeable surfaces and choose planting that can handle drought and swings in the weather.
• An end to littered recycling points. We will step up inspections of recycling points, press the city to fix reported problems, and take part in modernizing collection, for example dynamic collection based on how full the containers are.
• More money from grants. Prague 5 has not been using grants for the environment and climate adaptation. We will start preparing projects systematically so they succeed in grant programs; every grant eases the budget and means more things actually get done.
